Care Guide
Good leather does not need much. It needs the right things, done regularly.
Rest
Never wear the same pair on consecutive days. Leather needs a full day to release moisture and return to shape.
Tree
Insert cedar shoe trees while the leather is still warm. They hold the line of the vamp and draw moisture out of the lining.
Brush
A soft horsehair brush after each wear removes dust before it settles into the grain. This alone does most of the work.
Condition
A neutral cream two to four times a year, worked in thinly and left to absorb before buffing. Less product, more often.
Store
Keep pairs in the dust bag, away from direct heat and sunlight. Heat is what cracks leather, not wear.
Product-specific care instructions will be published with the Signature Penny Loafer once its final leather and finish are confirmed.
